Micah Player

An author and illustrator of books and games, Micah studied Graphic Design at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City before moving to Southern California to work in the apparel industry. His first picture book, “Chloe, Instead” was published by Chronicle Books in 2012. He’s worked with Simon & Schuster, American Girl, Paul Frank Industries, The Land of Nod, Penguin Random House, Harper Kids, Scwhartz & Wade, Roaring Brook, Little Bee Books, Houghton Mifflin and a bunch of other rad places. Rich digital color, washy textures, sharp mid-century inspired shapes and expressive ink lettering are his modus operandi.
